Develop a brand identity for a coffee shop, defining its target audience and visual direction.
Problem:
Village is a new coffee shop concept based in Manly, Australia. The challenge was to create a full brand identity that captured the relaxed coastal lifestyle without relying on the typical ‘surf shack’ aesthetic.
Insight:
Village is more than just a coffee shop. The brand reflects the unique character of Manly — a suburb known for its strong community and connection to nature. The business is built around values of sustainability, local produce, quality, and friendship. It creates a welcoming space that celebrates the local lifestyle.
Target Audience:
Mid-range price point aimed at locals and visitors who value independent, community-focused, and responsible businesses.
